Media Blog Feedback
WWW: Two good posts – but also missing work. The fruit
bowl is creative and your opening questions show an engagement with different
types of Media. However, if you genuinely want an A* then you’re going to need
to massively fix up your blog and general focus.
EBI: You need to post your missing work urgently: the
LIAR film poster analysis and the Camerawork photo storyboard pictures and
analysis. If you don’t keep up with the work you cannot hope to complete a
subject with 60% coursework – that means not even being entered for the exam,
let alone an A*.
LR: Post the two missing pieces of work. Then, reflect on
your first month of Media. What do you feel is your strongest piece of work so
far? What is your weakest? What specific skills or knowledge do you need to
develop over the rest of the course?
I feel that my strongest piece of work so far is LIAR poster analysis
I feel my weakest piece of work so far is the Fruit Bowl
I need to develop my Photoshop, writing skills over the rest of the course.

Minority Report Analysis
A medium close-up shot allows the audience to see the emotion/ facial expression of the actors face along with the background. In this case the Medium Close-up shot shows us the police officer looking for the criminal.
A wide shot/establishing shot allows us to see where the actor is. In this picture it shows us that the actor is running away from the police.
This is a close up, it allows the audience to see the actors emotional reaction. In this picture it shows the audience that the actor is looking at someone or something.

The people that are making money from Taken 3 are: Bryan Mills and other actors that have participated in the movie and companies that have helped.
Audience: The target audience for this film are people who are into action films, aged 13-34. We can tell this because there's a lot of violence but not to much that is why it is suitable for people who are 13.
Representation: The focal picture shows a male, Liam Neeson positioned in a way that he is on the run from the police which is quite frequent in action films. In the poster we can see Liam neeson is holding a gun facing down and there are a lot of helicopters, this shows the audience that Liam is on the run on top of a building where the are helicopters around, This may get young viewers interested in this film.

This is a long shot [LS], this shows the actor head to toe. this tells the audience how to actor looks like from head to toe and what the actor is doing, in this picture, it tells the audience that the actor is climbing a fence
This is a medium shot [MS], this shows waist to head. this shows the actor and the roughly the setting the actor is in, in this case, the actor is in an ali way. The actor is wearing a high visibility vest so this tells the audience that he is a police officer.
This picture is a medium close-up [MCU], A medium close up only shows the actors head and shoulders visible. This Medium close-up shot shows the actors facial expression and can be seen along with the background. This picture tells the audience that the actor is on a phone call, calling someone.
This is an over the shoulder shot [OTS] to show the audience that the drug deal is taking place and also shows what the actor is facing so the audience can get an idea of what is happening.
This picture is an over the shoulder shot [OTS], This shows the audience what the actor is facing, in this case, I approach the drug dealer to arrest him.
This is a low angle shot to make the police officer look big and powerful. In this shot it shows that I am arresting the drug dealer.
High angle, This makes the drug dealer look small and weak because he is dealing with drugs so he is currently getting arrested in this picture.
Unusual perspective : This picture shows the audience that the police officer is behind the drug dealer and show facial expression of the drug dealer to show the audience danger.
